Job Description
The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in the hotel. This role ensures optimal climate control for guest comfort, supervises the HVAC team, coordinates with other departments, and ensures all work complies with safety standards and hotel quality requirements
- Lead and manage the HVAC team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical guidance.
- Conduct training for team members on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and new technologies.
- Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate manpower for continuous HVAC operations.
- Oversee inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all HVAC equipment including chillers, air handling units, boilers, cooling towers, and fan coil units.
- Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and maintain optimal indoor air quality and temperature.
- Supervise installation, upgrades, and replacement projects of HVAC systems.
- Review technical drawings, equipment specifications, and ensure work complies with design requirements.
- Estimate materials, labour, and time required for projects and ensure timely completion.
- Report any hazards, accidents, or incidents to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read HVAC schematics, technical manuals, and drawings.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
