Job Description

ACCOR HotelServices Hungary Ltd. being operator of hotels under ACCOR brands        (ibis, ibis Styles, Mercure, Mövenpick, Novotel, Pullman ) is looking for an HR GENERALIST who will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support in respect of ACCOR’s Budapest Support Office as main focus, and occasional support for hotel openings and hotel operations activities in Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Full-time employment with a fixed-term contract of 18 months (further extension TBD).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HR support for Budapest Support Office managers, team members (~ 35 colleagues)
  • Coordinate the full Employee Lifecycle in Budapest HQ (from recruitment to on/offboarding)
  • Monitoring talent pipeline, mobility, L & D needs of Budapest HQ employees
  • Manage all payroll processes in collaboration with external payroll provider
  • Managing the HQ employees’ labour documentation (e.g. contracts, promotions, etc.)
  • Maintain confidential file system for employees and candidates;​
  • Oversee HR Data while entering new hires, promotions, transfers and terminations
  • HR data reporting
  • Participate in development of Local SOPs and other internal guidelines and handbooks​
  • Participate and support HR digital projects (e.g. Employee Engagement Survey)
  • Contribution to local CSR projects, event organization, internal communication
  • Coordinate local Employer Branding activity with support of regional expert team / agency
  • Support and coordinate Budapest Support Office OSH activities (e.g. occupational health check, work-and fire safety) in collaboration with external service providers
  • Company car fleet management and full administration support
  • Rollout and implementation of HR topics in the Budapest Support Office
  • Contribute on Eastern European (EE) level to global / regional HR projects

Qualifications

  • University or college degree (advantage: HR, organizational development, andragogy, labour law)
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in a similar role (HR Specialist, Generalist, Coordinator)
  • Advanced level business English, fluent in Hungarian (additional EE languages an advantage)
  • Digital / Social media fluency, professional use of MS Word, Excel and other office programs
  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism in a highly confidential environment
  • Diplomatic, helpful, warm and approachable personality
