As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, support and coach team members, manage inventories, uphold brand standards, and contribute to a safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning operations, conduct room and public‑area inspections, and ensure all cleanliness and brand standards are met.
- Monitor staff productivity while supporting training, coaching, and adherence to policies.
- Maintain accurate inventories of equipment, linen, supplies, and amenities, ensuring cost‑effective departmental operations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests, resolving issues promptly, and delivering professional, friendly service.
- Previous housekeeping experience in either a supervisor or team leader capacity.
- Understanding of inventory control, purchasing processes, and cost‑management practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to manage complaints and solve problems calmly and effectively.
- Proficient in IT systems; Microsoft suite, HubOS, Opera Cloud.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster of shifts, including Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, and Public Holidays when required.
