We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in ibis Hotel Amman, Jordan. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel. This position requires a professional who can effectively lead a team, manage daily operations, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet our high cleanliness standards
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain par levels for housekeeping materials
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Implement and maintain safety and security procedures within the housekeeping department
- Assist in creating work schedules and assigning tasks to team members
- Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of housekeeping staff
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and industry standards
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative housekeeping practices
- 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping roles within a hotel environment
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar setting
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Proficiency in inventory management and supply ordering
- Knowledge of housekeeping best practices and safety standards
- High standard of personal hygiene, grooming, and presentation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage
