Job Description

Are you passionate about maintaining exceptional standards and leading a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences? We are looking for a professional and motivated full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery. If you take pride in attention to detail, enjoy coaching and motivating others, and thrive in a fast paced environment, this role is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Lead, supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces meet the hotel’s five star standard
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high quality and presentation
  • Train, mentor and motivate team members to enhance their performance and professional development
  • Allocate tasks and roster team members efficiently to meet operational requirements
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen and amenities, ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Report maintenance issues and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution
  • Ensure all housekeeping procedures comply with hygiene, safety and environmental standards
  • Support the team to deliver a seamless and welcoming guest experience, going above and beyond when needed

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleanliness standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to motivate and coach a team in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of service and presentation
  • Reliability and consistency so that guests experience the same high quality environment every day
  • Availability work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
