Housekeeping Room Attendant

Situated in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, with views out over the river to Southbank, the ibis Styles Brisbane is a modern, stylish hotel catering for both business and leisure guests. With 367 rooms, ibis Styles Brisbane is one of the largest hotels in Brisbane City. We are bright, colourful, stylish and are looking for Casual Housekeeping Room Attendants to join the team. 

Working as part of a friendly and welcoming team, your role will include the following duties:

• Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard and in time allocated
• Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
• Report any lost property following correct procedures
• Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is desirable
• Friendly nature, willing to communicate with guests 
• Conversational English is highly preferred as you will be talking to guests and taking instructions. 
• Good mobility to ensure clean and tidy rooms for guests in the allocated timeframe. 
• This role involves manual labour, heavy lifting and constant repetitive actions, all in a fast paced environment. A moderate level of fitness is required to be successful in this rewarding role.
