    Job Description

    Position Summary

    The Housekeeping Office Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Housekeeping department. This role ensures efficient communication, accurate documentation, and smooth operations of daily housekeeping activities, enabling the team to maintain the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the main point of contact for all administrative and clerical tasks within the Housekeeping department.

    • Maintain housekeeping schedules, staff rosters, and attendance records.

    • Prepare and distribute daily reports, including room status, inventory updates, and maintenance requests.

    • Assist in managing linen, supplies, and equipment inventory.

    • Coordinate communication between housekeeping staff, front office, and other departments.

    • Maintain accurate records of lost and found items.

    • Support the Executive Housekeeper in implementing departmental policies and procedures.

    • Ensure compliance with hotel standards, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

    • Handle guest inquiries and requests related to housekeeping efficiently and professionally.

     


    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping administration, preferably in a 5-star hotel.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems (PMS).

    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in reporting and documentation.

    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic hotel environment.
