With 367 rooms, ibis Styles Brisbane is one of the largest hotels in Brisbane City. We are bright, colourful, stylish and we are looking for our next Full-Time Housekeeping Duty Manager to lead our housekeeping division.
Note: This role is offered as a parental leave fixed term until August 2025.
Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role leads the housekeeping function of ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth St.
You will be responsible for:
- Rostering
- Ordering Inventory
- Lost property
- Productivity
- Cleanliness standards of rooms
- Work allocations
- training and onboarding of new team members
- Guest complaints
- Laundry
Qualifications
Your team will describe you as caring, competent, organised and maybe a little bit playful. You love working with a diverse team and learning about the cultures and stories of all our Heartists.
You will have previous supervisory experience in a hotel housekeeping environment and be an exceptional listener, always willing to find a solution to every problem. You'll enjoy working with the Front Office Duty Managers to ensure exceptional guest service.
This role operates across a 24 hour, 7 day working week and you may be required to work weekends and public holidays.
Must have full Australian Working Rights - this position is not available to be sponsored.
