Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hotel Manager to lead our operations in Alexandria, Egypt. As Hotel Manager, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This is an opportunity to drive operational excellence, foster a culture of service, and lead a diverse team in a dynamic hospitality environment.

  • Lead and oversee all hotel operations across multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Culinary, ensuring seamless coordination and service delivery
  • Partner with the General Manager and executive team to translate strategic priorities into actionable operational goals, structured plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Establish and implement comprehensive department policies, standard operating procedures, and service standards aligned with brand expectations and local regulatory requirements
  • Provide hands-on leadership that sets clear standards for exceptional service through emotional intelligence, authentic personal connection, and visible presence throughout the property
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of operational staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership development to department heads, empowering them to act as entrepreneurs and drive innovative, guest-focused solutions
  • Monitor and analyze staffing levels, productivity metrics, and operational key performance indicators to optimize both service quality and financial performance
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and work toward achieving profit objectives while maintaining service excellence
  • Analyze guest feedback, quality metrics, and audit results to identify opportunities for improvement and implement structured enhancement plans
  • Assume General Manager responsibilities during their absence, maintaining operational continuity and leadership presence
  • Champion a strong culture of health, safety, and accident prevention throughout the property
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, staff, and external stakeholders, demonstrating transparency and inclusive leadership

Qualifications

**Experience & Skills**

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience, ideally within upscale or luxury hospitality environments
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or Director of Rooms within a recognized quality hotel or resort
  • Proven expertise in leading complex, multi-department operations with demonstrated success in service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Strong working knowledge of hotel management systems, financial reporting, labor management, and productivity tools
  • Excellent team leadership and motivational skills with proven ability to coach and develop emerging leaders
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to articulate vision and expectations clearly
  • Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization
  • Demonstrated expertise in guest relations, complaint resolution, and service recovery
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems and hospitality technology platforms
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations

**Education & Certifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Egyptian hospitality regulations and compliance standards (preferred)
  • Certification in hotel management or hospitality leadership (preferred)
