- Hourly rate of $21.38 to 24.43
What you will be doing:
- Ensure smooth operation of the Restaurant
- Greet and seat guests
- Provide concierge service to guests
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- A minimum of one (1) year recent experience (in the last five years) as a server or host in an “a la carte” dining setting in an upscale, high volume restaurant "Serving It Right" and “Food Safe” Certification
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner
- Knowledge of organizing reservations and service flows
- Driven and focused on maximizing capacities
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise
- High level of responsibility and commitment
- Team player with proven success in relationship building
- Commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding guests' expectations
- Comprehensive and current knowledge of local attractions, events, restaurants and transportation information
- Ability to anticipate guest needs
- Experience with OpenTable is considered an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking, Frequent bending and kneeling, Ocassional carrying and lifting
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
