Job Description
Join our team as a Host at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and be the welcoming face of our dining experience. Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring their visit is memorable from start to finish. In this role, you'll coordinate seating, assist with special requests, and maintain a smooth and efficient flow in the restaurant, all while upholding the highest standards of service and safety.
Rate: $19.94/hour
Job Duties Include:
- Provide warm greeting and welcome all guests to the restaurant
- Obtain dining information from guests, such as dietary requirements or special occasions
- Coordinate the dining room's seating arrangements by planning ahead and anticipating fluctuations in business
- Seat guests in an organized fashion to maintain service flows for the Servers
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months food and beverage experience
- Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Proficient with POS systems (OpenTable & Silverware)
You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
