The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.


Job Description

Head Hostess – French Brasserie

The Head Hostess will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by managing the front-of-house operations and leading the host/hostess team.

  • Lead and motivate the host/hostess team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or special requests promptly.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to optimize table turnover and enhance overall dining efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest counts, and special requests.
  • Ensure that the front-of-house area is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Monitor and enforce quality standards for service and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a hostess role.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
