Head Chef

Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef to drive the hotel's culinary experience. This role reports to the General Manager and is full time (guaranteed 40 hours per week).

• Drive culinary excellence and innovation
• Supervise, coach and motivate the kitchen team with true leadership ability
• Ensure delivery of high quality products and services - including a la carte dining, breakfast, lunch, dinners and buffets. 
• Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are monitored to meet Brand Standard guidelines.
• Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.

• Passion for delivering an exceptional culinary experience
• Proven ability in menu planning and costing
• Previous experience effectively leading and managing a kitchen team
• Passion for food and drive to deliver on-trend food offering
