What you will be doing:

• Perform hair care services including; mens grooming & styling, cutting, styling, blow-drying, hair colouring, conditioning treatments, formal evening designs & weddings
• Ensure the proper procedures in the operations of each appointment, welcoming guests and booking reservations
• Must follow the LQA (leading quality assurance) standards at all times
• Accommodates special requests of guests
• Maintains a clean and productive work environment that meets the Alberta Health Standards
• Assist with cleaning duties as required for all areas of the spa including the Spa Reception area
• Meet JPD (JD Power and Associates) targets
• Offer assistance with home care recommendations and prescribing the most beneficial products
• Product training with subsequent sales goals will be assigned
• Possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
• Have a passion for people and service excellence
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
• Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned

• Red Seal qualifications are mandatory
• Certification from an accredited School of Hair is required
• All professional licenses are to be current
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
• Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
• Ability to be frequently standing, bending and reaching throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying, kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
