Company Description

As a Guest Services Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a memorable first and last impression for our guests. With a warm and engaging approach, you will assist guests with their luggage, escort them to their rooms, and provide information about the hotel and surrounding area. You will work closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless and personalized arrival and departure experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a memorable first and last impression of the hotel
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, storage, and timely delivery of luggage, messages, and other items throughout the property
  • Escort and room guests, providing a personalized and engaging orientation of the guest room while highlighting key features, amenities, and services
  • Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and entrance as an ambassador of the hotel, anticipating guest needs and offering assistance proactively
  • Provide thoughtful recommendations regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining, and transportation options
  • Collaborate closely with Front Desk, Concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless and personalized guest experiences
  • Drive the hotel’s luxury courtesy vehicle when required, ensuring safe, professional, and courteous transportation for guests
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles efficiently while following all valet procedures and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas
  • Handle guest belongings with the utmost care and professionalism
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest service is an asset
  • Friendly, professional, and service-oriented personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions is an asset
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license and Driver’s Abstract
