Job Description

  • $26.78 to $27.78 per hour
  • Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed

About us

Situated on a unique vantage point with breath taking views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountain range, Mercure Queenstown Resort offers 148 guests rooms, two restaurants, a lounge bar and conference facilities.  

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional guest experiences.  Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries.  You will play a key role in providing a smooth and seamless stay for our guests, confidently recommending local activities and popular tourist attractions to enhance their visit.


Qualifications

About you

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual with the following qualities:

  • You excel at building strong working relationships and thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability to changing priorities is key.
  • You are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality customer service that leaves a lasting positive impact.
  • Your interpersonal and engagement abilities allow you to connect effortlessly with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Well developed English language ability, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience with Opera, Opera Cloud or RTBS systems is an advantage.
  • You are available to work on a 7 day week rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
