Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Relations Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As the face of our property and the brand ambassador, you will play a crucial role in curating exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction in one of the world's most historic cities.

  • Manage and enhance VIP guest interactions, focusing on long-stay, high-spend, and loyalty guests
  • Drive customer loyalty through personalized service and proactive engagement
  • Coordinate and assist with special requests, ensuring smooth experiences for VIPs and guests celebrating special occasions
  • Maintain an exceptional response rate to guest reviews on all platforms, addressing concerns promptly and effectively
  • Lead improvement initiatives based on guest feedback, collaborating with various departments to elevate service standards
  • Ensure all guests are welcomed and recognized in line with our brand standards
  • Organize and participate in VIP networking functions, showcasing the best of our hospitality
  • Empower and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment aligned with our company values
  • Serve as a cultural bridge, helping international guests navigate local customs and etiquette
  • Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the guest experience in our unique setting

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a hotel environment, preferably in a managerial capacity or similar role
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent personal presentation and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complaints and provide effective solutions
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with knowledge of local customs and etiquette
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
