Job Description

•Work shifts across Food & Beverage and Front Office departments on rotating roster

•Lead, train and motivate team members across operation departments 

•Enthusiasm and commitment to deliver exceptional service

•Ability to multitask with a can-do attitude

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to cope under pressure and handle guest complaints

•A high standard of personal presentation


Qualifications

•Availability to work 4 x 10 hour shifts including weekends

•Previous experience of 1 year or more in a supervisory or team leader role in a Front Office background or Food & Beverage background

•Must hold a Current General Mangers certificate or ability to obtain 

•Knowledge of Opera, Opera Cloud or similar property operation system

The Novotel Rotorua Lakeside and ibis Rotorua Lakeside it’s a dual  branded complex hotel with 344 rooms located in central Rotorua.

Our  two hotels include,  Atlas Café & Restaurant and Clarkes Bar, ibis restaurant. 10 conference/Banquet rooms and InBalance Fitness Centre.

This newly created role works across both our Food & Beverage and Front Office departments reporting to Operations Manager, this role would be ideal for a supervisor looking for development across operations at a duty manager level
