We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Mysuru, India. As a GSA - F&B, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
- Greet and escort guests to their tables, providing a warm and professional welcome
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, demonstrating knowledge of menu items and daily specials
- Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables, side stations, and dining areas
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to maximize revenue
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
- Support other F&B outlets during peak times or as required
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on service standards and hotel policies
- Service-focused personality with a passion for hospitality
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in hotel operations or related food service role
- Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Team player with a collaborative attitude
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
