Mercure Hotel Amsterdam City is beautifully situated on the water and ideally located in relation to, for example, the ArenA, ZiggoDome, the Zuidas, the city center and only 5 minutes from the RAI Convention Centre. Given its location, just off the highway and close to Metrostation Overamstel, it is easy to get to.


Job Description

Are you looking for a job in which you have a lot of (indirect) contact with guests and play an important role for our hotel and our guests?

As a Groups and Reservations Coordinator, you are primarily responsible for individual reservations in our hotel. You are therefore the face of Mercure Amsterdam City for our guests. These can be contact persons from companies that arrange overnight stays for several people, as well as guests from the Netherlands or abroad with questions about, for example, breakfast or nearby attractions. All types of guests can contact you and you ensure that everyone is satisfied and that everything is arranged perfectly.

You promote team spirit and contribute to the results of the department. In addition, you communicate easily with other departments and you are able to switch quickly between different activities.


Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

You are good at communicating, strong in organizing and have a commercial mindset. You master the English language in word and writing.

You are also social and therefore easily make a personal click with the guest / contact person.

Of course you are service-oriented and you like to work in a team, but you can also pick up work independently.

Is it busy and chaotic? Then you are in your element, because you are able to maintain order through your good planning and organization skills. You can handle work pressure well and don't let yourself be easily knocked out of the field.

  • Salary above the Collective Labor Agreement scale 6, this is between € 2.699,15 and € 3.410,52 based on your experience. At Accor we start from periodic 4 instead of 1;
  • 25 holidays based on full-time (38-hour) working week;
