Company Description

We are looking for a Groups & Events Planning Coordinator to join our London Sales Team!

You’ll be a key player and support to our growing Groups & Events team by handling admin, systems and everything in between to drive the conversion of enquiries & planning of meetings, events & group accommodation bookings. Working across our London portfolio, comprising of The Hoxtons Shoreditch, Holborn, Southwark and Shepherds Bush, it’s a great opportunity to join a fast paced, multi property, reactive sales & planning team.

Set across a series of lively, interesting city neighbourhoods, our London hotels are packed with individual design vibes; whether we’re reviving existing buildings or creating exciting new spaces.


Job Description

 

What you’ll do…

  • Support our team of Groups & Events Executives, Senior Groups & Events Executives, Groups & Events Planning Manager & Head of Groups & Events Planning, by creating and updating bookings, invoices, processing commissions, rooming lists, reporting and diary management
  • Update our booking systems OPERA and Delphi in line with our SOP’s based on reporting needs, and to assist the team
  • Manage internal booking requests from other Ennismore teams
  • Liaise with clients and support bookings when required
  • Assist with planning-based projects & ad-hoc activities across the four London hotels.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • Experience working within hospitality or a similar role; you’re looking for an opportunity to take the next step into a career in reactive groups & event sales 
  • Someone who is proud of their OTT attention to detail and knows how to stay organised while working at a fast pace
  • You’re confident using systems such as Outlook, Excel, Microsoft word, (experience using OPERA and Delphi would be an advantage)
  • A people person, great at building strong and lasting relationships
  • You’re looking for a challenge and a place where you can be you (no clones in suits here)
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get stuff done
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
