Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director Process & Performance within the Global Category Management team, the Category Data Analyst – Rem & Spend is responsible for analyzing rem, spend and budget data, monitor KPIs and be pro active in identifying revenue growth opportunities, implement forecast accuracy methodology in close collaboration with the Category Manager and Controllership Team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Budget Analysis and Forecast :

  • Conduct thorough budget analysis to understand current situation, gaps vs previous periods and growth opportunities.
  • Provide data analysis & key support to Category Managers to identify gaps and opportunities (in terms of categories, suppliers, regions,..) to work on to enable revenue growth.
  • Lead budget data analysis to allow improved forecast accuracy from Category Management team in close collaboration with the Controlling team.

Declaratives Monitoring and Suppport:

  • Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis to category management team on remuneration & spend declarations by suppliers during the different year campaigns.
  • Provide support to Suppliers on their declaratives to ensure declarations’ quality and address challenges.
  • Work on close collaboration with Procurement Business Support (PBS) and Digital teams (A2S).

Spend, Rem & Savings’ Data Analysis:

  • Utilize advanced analytics to gather insights and allow strategic category management decisions.
  • Delivery and follow-up of Category Management KPIs linked to spend, rem & savings to monitor team performance
  • Work on close collaboration with Digital teams (HQ Tools, Data).

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive, in close collaboration with Procurement Controlling, PBS & Digital teams continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of best practices in data analysis to implement improvements within the organization.

Qualifications

 

  • Business School / Master degree
  • Full working proficiency in French & English
  • Knowledge of GPO is a plus (for internal candidates)
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in complex and uncertain environment
  • Excel, SQL, PowerBi
  • Problem-Solving: Identify issues and implement efficient solutions.
  • Positive mindset, resilient
  • Proactivity, adaptability
