Company Description

Accor Group is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity at The Mozart Prague, a distinguished hotel with a rich history and a bright future. As we prepare to elevate this iconic property to an ultra-luxury Sofitel Legend brand, we are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead the hotel through a significant refurbishment phase and oversee its transformation. This role is a unique chance to leave your mark on one of Prague's most prestigious hotels and to be part of a globally recognized hospitality company.


Job Description

Reporting into the Senior Vice President Operations, the General Manager oversees the day to day operations of the hotel in accordance with company and brand mission, vision, values and standards.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and Vision: Guide and inspire a dedicated team, setting a standard of excellence in every aspect of hotel management.
  • Project Management: Oversee the hotel's extensive refurbishment project, ensuring that all renovations meet our high standards of luxury and elegance, on time and within budget.
  • Brand Transition: Skillfully manage the re-branding process, working closely with the Accor Group and Sofitel Legend brand teams to seamlessly integrate the hotel into the Sofitel Legend portfolio.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain operational efficiencies and the highest levels of guest satisfaction during the transition, ensuring the hotel continues to operate smoothly without compromising service quality.
  • Financial Acumen: Exhibit strong financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing revenue opportunities throughout the refurbishment and re-branding phases.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, including employees, guests, hotel owners, the local community, and corporate partners, to ensure a collaborative approach to the hotel’s transformation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the luxury hotel sector.
  • Demonstrated ability in overseeing major renovation projects and hotel re-branding efforts.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of luxury, service, and guest experience.
