Job Description

Are you ready to lead a team in an exciting new venture? We are opening a new luxury hotel and seeking a passionate General Manager to oversee daily operations. This role offers an incredible learning opportunity to shape the hotel’s success from the start.

You will work closely with our Vice President of Operations to ensure everything aligns with our mission, vision, values, and standards. Your main focus will be maximizing financial performance, guest satisfaction, and Heartist® engagement.

Bring your personal touch to our hospitality and foster positive owner relations while implementing and monitoring strategic goals and objectives. Join us for professional growth in an inclusive and supportive environment.


Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

 

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in luxury hotel management
  • College degree required
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Good understanding of the local market, with prior experience in Latin America, the Caribbean, or South America
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the capacity to set high goals and standards for smooth hotel operations
  • Strategic, creative, and able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on overall goals
  • Effective management style: hands-on, approachable, and aligned with our Leader model
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • Bottom-line oriented with an emphasis on quality guest service and team building
  • Understanding/experience of union relations, where applicable
