Company Description

Novotel Gdansk Marina is looking for a General Manager ready to lead, inspire, and leave a lasting impact. If you’re driven, passionate about hospitality, and want to shape unforgettable guest experiences, this is your stage.

Your future mission will be to lead a 3-star seaside managed property, offering 176 modern, fully equipped rooms, many with views of the Gulf of Gdańsk. Ideally located right on the seafront, just 50 metres from Jelitkowo Beach, the hotel provides an easy access to a picturesque coastal promenade and is perfectly positioned between Gdańsk and Sopot. The property features the Fish & Gin Restaurant on-site, as well as meeting and banquet facilities, and a wellness area with an indoor pool, sauna, fitness centre. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of leisure amenities, including outdoor sports facilities and family-friendly spaces, making it an ideal destination for both business and leisure stays.

 


Job Description

As General Manager, you will serve as a brand and property ambassador, leading with strong interpersonal skills and clear vision to engage your team, enhance guest satisfaction, and deliver outstanding business results. With solid commercial awareness and determination, you will drive revenue growth beyond targets and ensure Novotel Gdansk Marina maintains a strong and competitive position within the local market.

Your key areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of hotel operations
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing, engaged team
  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture that supports collaboration and growth
  • Drive financial performance, revenue growth, and overall profitability
  • Ensure operational excellence and seamless guest experience across all departments
  • Maintain the highest standards of product quality, service delivery, and brand consistency
  • Ensure full compliance with all operational controls, policies, and legal requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community and represent the hotel externally

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a General Manager role within a similar hotel brand or business
  • Proven leadership skills with high emotional intelligence, including the ability to build, engage, and develop teams, foster a positive work environment, and communicate effectively across all levels
  • Passion for personal growth and the development of others
  • Exceptional ability to maintain rigorous quality standards, ensuring all aspects of hotel operations reflect the highest levels of excellence and guest satisfaction
  • Analytical, creative, and an effective communicator
  • A strategic thinker, operationally strong, capable of taking action, solving problems, and leading by example
  • Strong business acumen, with a proven track record of driving commercial performance and delivering on KPIs
  • Passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Fluent in Polish and English
