We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join our team at SLS Baha Mar.

In your role you will be responsible for leading and supporting the team on the day-to-day management of a successful operation. As the GM, you'll embody the SLS brand, creating an indulgent wonderland that defines the unique SLS experience for both our guests and team.

SLS Baha Mar is located on the pristine white sands of Cable Beach. From here it’s a 10-minute drive into the capital, Nassau, and a further five minutes drive over the causeway to the beaches of Paradise Island. Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Fully own the commercials of your property and overall performance, from P&L, through to budgets, through to planning and forecasting (and re-forecasting) 
  • Achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Support your Leaders in the day-to-day People management of our Rooms and F&B teams.
  • Oversee all quality evaluation processes and strive to improve all qualitative metrics.
  • Be ultimately accountable for delivering projects in your property.

What we’re looking for…

  • You are an experienced, commercially savvy operator and have prior experience in a similar role.
  • You have experience as a General Manager in a full-service property or luxury resort.
  • You have experience either directly or indirectly managing food & beverage operations.
  • Someone with a passion for hospitality, you inspire an enthusiastic guest-centered approach.
  • You have a hands-on approach and are willing to roll up your sleeves and work shifts if required, side by side with the team.
  • You are humble & kind; you think big and encourage your team to believe.
  • You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
  • You are a natural at leading and managing others, and you lead by example, creating an environment where your team can be their best self.
