Company Description

The ibis budget Gosford features 78 modern premium budget rooms, redefining budget and comfort for the Central Coast whilst blending style with practicality. Located at the entrance to the Central Coast, ibis budget Gosford has upgraded and restyled all guest rooms, and redesigned the breakfast room and reception areas, resulting in a modern and refreshing finish. The breakfast menu has been tastefully recast in the French style with an expanded range and selection complementing its Parisian mural and modern facilities.


Job Description

As General Manager at ibis budget Gosford, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the seamless functioning of the hotel and the delivery of memorable guest experiences.

From overseeing day-to-day operations to setting and implementing strategic objectives, you will play a pivotal role in driving the hotel's success. Your leadership will inspire and empower a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will also be the face of the hotel and be involved in the operation, cultivating strong relationships with guests, partners, and stakeholders to uphold the reputation of ibis budget Gosford.

Responsibilities for the role include:

  • Leading the overall management and strategic direction of ibis budget Gosford
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, predominantly owners, guests, and suppliers
  • Ensure long term profitability of the operational departments and the hotel, maximising revenue and yielding opportunities.
  • Conduct regular analysis on all departments to continuously improve productivity, quality, market competitiveness and service standards.
  • Develop, inspire, and lead team members to create a great place to work that embodies our Heartist culture.

Qualifications

A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.

About you

  • Previous experience as a Operations or Hotel Manager
  • The ability to provide strategic thought processes and direction to build market performance and business outcomes.
  • Proven strong and successful Ownership relationships.
  • Strong ability to develop, lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals.
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • A strong focus on customer service and passionate about guest experiences
