Job Description

Primary Responsibilities 

•    Assist the Engineering Supervisor & Assistant Engineer in maintenance and care of all the equipment.
•    Maintain quality of work in order to meet the standards.
•    To control and check all the equipment.
•    Ensure to work according to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
•    Ensure to handle and maintain all equipment’s properly.
•    Any matter which may effect the interests of Novotel Hyderabad Airport should be brought to the attention of the Management.
•    To abide by the mission statement of the Company and of the department.

Operational Management

•    Maintain all the equipment as per the specified standards.
•    Set up drill press, lathe, millers, shapers, grinders, and thread cutter to mill, drill, turn shape, grind or thread such metals as steel, bronze, brass, etc.
•    Is responsible for performance of heating boilers. 
•    Maintain all tools and equipment as required.
•    Assist other departmental personnel as necessary.
•    Ensure to complete all the tasks assigned in an effective and efficient manner.
•    Complete the necessary reports, work orders, etc. as required.
•    Ensure to practice Safety in all aspects of the job.
 


Qualifications

nowledge and Experience

•    Secondary / High school education
•    Trade Certificate or a minimum of 1 year of relevant hands on experience in area of expertise 
•    Good reading and oral proficiency in English language

•    Good communication and customer contact skills
•    Service oriented with an eye for details
•    Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team 
•    Self-motivated and energetic
•    Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
