We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations across our organization. We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who can efficiently handle a wide range of maintenance tasks.

• Perform routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on a scheduled basis to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed
• Operate and maintain various tools and machinery, including drill presses, lathes, millers, shapers, grinders, and thread cutters
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery
• Monitor and maintain heating boilers and related systems
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues and improve overall facility operations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide solutions in a timely manner

• Diploma, Degree, ITI, or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field
• Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various equipment and systems
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and machinery such as drill presses, lathes, millers, shapers, grinders, and thread cutters
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience with boiler operation and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation purposes
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a maintenance environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency calls when necessary
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various positions
