You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cocktail crafting that are hallmarks of our speakeasy experience. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a warm and welcoming cocktail experience. What you will be doing:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage the reservation system, taking guest bookings and accurately recording details.
• Seat guests promptly and appropriately, considering special requests and preferences.
• Communicate with guests regarding wait times, menu information, and restaurant promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to date.
• Collaborate with the bar team to ensure smooth seating and efficient table turnover.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
• Maintaining knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods

Your experience and skills include:

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
• Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required.

Physical requirements include: 

This job requires constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.  Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
