Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for our guests. You are responsible for delivering outstanding service through warm greetings, efficient check-in/check-out procedures, and prompt assistance throughout the guest’s stay. You play a critical role in creating a memorable guest experience that reflects the high standards of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional, friendly manner

  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately

  • Manage guest reservations, both walk-ins and pre-booked

  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively

  • Handle billing and payment transactions

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to meet guest needs

  • Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, and local attractions

  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times

  • Uphold confidentiality of guest information and hotel policies

  • Follow hotel standard operating procedures and brand standards


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a diploma in Hospitality/Tourism is highly advantageous

  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles is strongly preferred

  • Recent graduates with substantive internship experience in Front Office operations will be considered

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal abilities and advanced problem-solving skills

  • Proven capacity to excel in fast-paced environments and efficiently manage multiple tasks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Property Management Systems (PMS), such as Opera or equivalent, is required

  • Impeccable professional appearance and consistently positive demeanor are crucial

  • Experience as a Night Auditor is highly valued
