Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Sheffield.

As a vital part of our hospitality organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food and beverage service.

  • Provide a warm and personalised welcome to all guests, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Lead, develop, and support a team of service specialists in daily hotel operations.
  • Maintain high standards of service, contributing to the attainment of the department's qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • Assist the F&B Manager to implement hotel strategy and reach KPI's.
  • Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages, ensuring presentation and quality meet our exacting standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand menu items and communicate special dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by supporting colleagues and adapting to operational demands.

 


Qualifications

  • Passion for hospitality and food and beverage service
  • Previous experience in a similar food and beverage role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to meet the demands of a dynamic hospitality environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Customer service-oriented with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry moderate loads
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling financial transactions
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
