With our newly renovated hotel and the launch of Parklands Social, our brand-new NY Deli & Grill - there's never been a more exciting time to join our team. We're creating a fresh, vibrant dining experience in the heart of Brisbane, and we want someone who is ready to help bring it to life.

This is an opportunity to make your mark, lead from the floor, inspire a passionate team and play a key role in shaping the guest experience at one of Brisbane's exciting hospitality destinations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a hands-on role in the daily operation of our Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and our team members feel supported, motivated and empowered to deliver their best.

From leading service in Parklands Social to supporting our restaurant, bar, events and conferencing operations, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our guests.

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example and making a genuine difference to both the guest and team member experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Inspire, motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and compliance.
• Support the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in driving revenue, managing costs and achieving departmental targets.
• Assist with team member training, coaching, onboarding and ongoing development.
• Ensure effective rostering, briefings and communication across the team.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and care.
• Support the delivery of functions, events and special occasions.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to continuously improve our Food & Beverage offering.

About You

You're a natural people person who leads with energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for hospitality. You enjoy bringing people together, creating a great atmosphere and making sure every guest leaves with a reason to return.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or team leadership role.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team.
• A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead from the floor.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Previous hotel or restaurant experience highly regarded.
