Food & Beverage Supervisor

Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join this ever thriving and exciting environment! Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.

• Creating exceptional guest experiences by providing great customer service and memorable moments
• Running the Shift and supervising staff in efficiently serving food & beverage for restaurant and conference rooms
• Breakfast service including buffet, and maintaining presentation of the restaurant
• Assisting guests with questions and menu recommendations
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth running of the service period
• Overseeing Rostering of Food & Beverage staff.
• Liaising with the Head Chef and completing ordering

Previous experience in a similar role, with hotel experience an advantage

• Knowledge of beverages including barista coffee, cocktails and wines to be able to maximise average spend
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
• Interest in making genuine connections with guests and colleagues
• Availability to work varied shifts including early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays - minimum of three shifts per week
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handling, or willing to obtain
• Must have working rights in Australia
