As the flagship hotel for the Mercure brand within Australia we invite you to belong to something bigger. We are a big hotel, looking for some big talent! With 517 refurbished rooms, 10 conference rooms, and multiple food and beverage outlets.

We are looking for our next rising star, ready to start leading our breakfast team in Platform 818 as a Full Time Team Leader!


Job Description

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Take ownership of the running of the breakfast service, ensuring that the outlet is running smoothly, and all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Leading by example with exceptional guest service at all times
  • Ensure standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained
  • Up keep knowledge of outlet and offerings
  • Opening/closing the venue.
  • Train new team members and share your knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

As the successful applicant, you will have the following:  

  • Previous Experience in a high volume and fast paced Food and Beverage setting is highly desired
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Team oriented and able to assist where needed
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident with leading and coaching other team members
  • Strong attention to detail
