Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
- Provide exceptional service to outlet guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner
- Demonstrate menu knowledge by recommending food and beverage selections and pairings to guests
- Process guest checks in a timely and efficient manner
- Bus and reset tables as required
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Strict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC)
- Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year food & beverage server experience in a luxury hotel or upscale high volume restaurant is required
- Demonstrated outgoing and engaging personal manner is required
- Ability to consistently provide exceptional service in a fast paced and demanding environment is required
- The ability to clearly communicate in an engaging manner in English is required
- Strong organizational skills are required
- Micros experience is an asset
- Reliable and responsible with ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong work ethic, and the ability to work split shifts, extended hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays is required
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Sitting: 0-1 Hr/Day; Walking: 6-8 Hr/Day; Standing: 6-8 Hr/Day
- Bending/Reaching: 4-6 Hr/Day
