Job Description

Raffles Doha is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong background in F&B management, and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and events.
  • Supervise, train, and develop the F&B team, ensuring high morale, motivation, and performance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Director of F&B to develop strategic plans and achieve departmental goals.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure all F&B outlets operate efficiently and profitably, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Conduct regular inspections of F&B outlets to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and manage F&B budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment, to maximize profitability.

Guest Satisfaction:

  • Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback related to F&B services promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a strong presence in F&B outlets, engaging with guests to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to anticipate and fulfill guest needs and preferences.

Menu Development and Quality Control:

  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to develop innovative and appealing menus.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of food and beverages across all outlets.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and conduct training programs for F&B staff to ensure consistent service standards and professional development.
  • Implement performance appraisal and feedback mechanisms to encourage staff growth and improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into training and operational procedures.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive F&B revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to enhance the F&B offering.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of F&B management experience in a luxury hotel environment, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a large team and multiple outlets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and quality.
  • Proficiency in F&B management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
