We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate and commercially focused Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Food & Beverage operations on a full-time basis.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day and strategic operation of our restaurant, bar, room service and conference & events/banqueting operations, leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving strong financial and operational results.

Job Description

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest service and achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily operations across restaurant, bar, room service and conference & events.
  • Drive Food & Beverage revenue through innovative initiatives, promotions and effective upselling strategies.
  • Manage departmental labour, costs, productivity and overall financial performance.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and hotel leadership team to achieve operational and business objectives.
  • Ensure effective rostering and staffing levels in line with business requirements.
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop team members while building a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Maintain strong relationships with VIP, regular and returning guests.
  • Manage guest feedback, service recovery and escalations professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, RSA, WHS and Accor brand standards.
  • Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support conference, event and banqueting operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, service quality and operational consistency.
  • Act as a key member of the hotel's emergency response team when required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or senior F&B leader within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing restaurant, bar and event/banqueting operations.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in revenue generation, labour management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for guest service.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.
  • Valid NSW RSA.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
