Company Description

We are looking for enthusiastic & passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at Novotel Sydney Parramatta.

Our 194 room Hotel is in the heart of Parramatta, home to some of Sydney’s best dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Plus, with a brand-new light rail under construction and ‘Eat Street’ activation, this is the place you want to be!


Job Description

This role would suit someone passionate about the industry and Food & Beverage in particular who’s ready to own the operations. Working alongside our Head Chef, and an engaging and passionate team, this is a great time to be part of the Novotel Sydney Parramatta crew. Join us and make your mark and elevate our Food & Beverage and conferencing operations in 2024!

More about the role:

  • Direct & drive the management of all the food and beverage outlets within the hotel in order to maximise profitability and end to end superior guest service
  • Implement all Novotel brand standards and specifications within the hotel Food & Beverage
  • Oversee the daily operation of the Banquet Operations in conjunction with the Kitchen team and our C&E sales team
  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations and drive employment engagement
  • Develop and action departmental strategic plans and goals for each year
  • Complete weekly/fortnightly/monthly forecasting and reporting

Qualifications

  • Passionate about all things food, beverage and hospitality
  • Prior experience in a leadership role – people management is key as you will lead a large team of different ages, background, skill level and experience
  • Current NSW RSA and knowledge of liquor licensing, food regulations and safety and security needs
  • An aptitude for financial analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • A genuine ability to engage with people by being ‘the real deal’
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia and availability to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands
