Then the role of F&B Manager at Novotel Amsterdam City might be your next big move! You’ll be responsible for the restaurant, kitchen, bar, STACH shop, and the Convention Centre (covering a whopping 1,300m² of space).
 


Job Description

What will you be doing?
Our F&B operation consists of a team of approximately 60 colleagues, led by the Banqueting Manager, Restaurant Team Leader, and our Executive Chef. And you? You’ll be leading these three directly! You ensure seamless collaboration across all F&B outlets and coordinate day-to-day processes. You love being on the floor—among guests and alongside your team. Thanks to your enthusiasm, broad knowledge, and industry experience, you know exactly how to help your team grow and shine.

Your tasks include:

  • Making sure the right people are in the right place;
  • Overseeing personnel management and conducting evaluation and development meetings;
  • Aligning processes, tackling challenges, and ensuring optimal teamwork;
  • Keeping a close eye on the budget, proposing smart improvements, and helping shape and elevate Novotel Amsterdam City’s strategy;
  • Enforcing health & safety, hygiene, and ARBO regulations together with your team;

Bringing decisions to life on the work floor instead of letting them gather dust in a drawer.

As our F&B Manager, you’ll lead the entire F&B team and be part of the Management Team. Qualifications

 

Who we’re looking for:
We're looking for a commercially savvy F&B Manager who doesn’t just spot opportunities—they grab them with both hands! You can handle a bit of pressure, always keep the bigger picture in mind, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You recognize the current challenges in the job market and face them with creativity and confidence. Sound like you? Then you might be the flexible, socially skilled motivator we’re looking for! You also bring:

  • At least 4 years of leadership experience in a similarly sized F&B operation;
  • A strong understanding of the commercial side of managing F&B operations;

The ability to switch smoothly between different outlets (bar, restaurant, kitchen, etc.);
