From the moment guests step into our informal lobby hub to the panoramic views offered by our rooftop bar and dining area, Te Kaahu beckons a rare opportunity to revel in luxury and soak in the mesmerizing sunset vistas stretching from the Manukau Harbour to the heart of Auckland City.

You will be the initial individual who our guests interact with as our Te Kaahu Food & Beverage Host, setting a warm and hospitable tone and smiling brightly as you greet each one of them. Throughout your role as the Food & Beverage Host, you will develop a relationship with both VIP and regular guests in order to make sure their needs and desires are fulfilled. 

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests
• Provide for guests and patrons an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations
• Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met

You will be:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Food & Beverage role with a background in customer service
• Providing outstanding service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience, attending to their needs, and exceeding their expectations
• Experience or formal training in hospitality industry including working experience in a star class hotel or a fast paced restaurant
• Experience in a 5 Star restaurant is an advantage
• Enthusiastic, driven, and dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional and treasured experience that they will cherish
