Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, strategic and results-oriented Food & Beverage Director to lead the Food & Beverage Department at Swissôtel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty.
The position will be responsible for the effective management of all F&B operations, driving revenue and sales, overseeing operational standards, ensuring a high level of guest service, and developing the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Financial Management:
- Develop and implement the Food & Beverage strategy;
- Prepare and control the department budget, revenue and operating costs;
- Drive sales and profitability across F&B operations;
- Analyze performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the operations of restaurants, bars, banquets and Room Service;
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, hotel procedures and service quality;
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation;
- Monitor the quality and availability of products, menus and guest amenities.
Team & Guest Service Management:
- Lead, train and develop the F&B team;
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and effectively handle feedback and complaints;
- Participate in recruitment and build a strong and efficient team;
- Work closely with other departments to achieve the hotel’s overall objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Previous experience in a senior Food & Beverage management position;
- Experience in an international 4–5 star hotel is preferred;
- Strong experience in managing teams and multiple F&B outlets;
- Good understanding of F&B financial performance, budgeting and operations;
- Fluent English is mandatory;
- Knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
