Job Description

Food & Beverage Administrative Supervisor

Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
  • On board, train and coach the Banquets, Reservations and Culinary coordinators.
  • Meet and on board all F&B new hires
  • Assist in implementing a result driven comprehensive communicative Food & Beverage plan consistent with our strategic vision
  • Assist in the F&B planning process, communication and potential documentation/records management
  • Perform a variety of non- routine duties in the coordination, administration and implementation of F&B tasks, events, processes.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments F&B requests and projects
  • Submitting and/or coordinating requisitions for goods and services in F&B operations
  • Lead and track progress for F&B maintenance walk through with respective teams and engineering
  • Lead menu engineering meetings and menu role outs for venues.
  • Act as lead recruiter for the division including reviewing INES and setting up division specific career fairs.
  • Gatekeeper of Resort pass and OpenTable operations including setting up venue specific experiences, setting up VIP reservations and hold training sessions for front office colleagues.
  • Attends weekly resume meeting and send out relevant notes and updates for the teams.
  • Actively work with Planet 21 committee to ensure F&B initiatives are being executed and communicated.
  • Attends regularly scheduled F&B Leaders, FOH & BOH staff meetings
  • Update status reports, agendas, facility updates
  • Other job related tasks as needed

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:

  • Previous experience is an asset
  • At least 1 year administrative experience preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi task and handle assignments in a fast paced, high pressure work environment
  • Ability to maintain the proper attitude to work with management, hourly associates, and outside contacts while working under pressure, meeting deadlines
  • Possess excellent working knowledge of computer software programs to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to effectively communicate English in both written and oral forms
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Preferred Degree in Hotel Administration, Communication, Business Administration or Culinary Arts
  • Previous experience working in similar resort setting

Physical Demands

This position requires:

· Constant standing and walking throughout shift
