Job Description

YOUR ROLE:

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager & hotel team.
  • Manage month-end & year-end processes, producing accurate, timely financial reporting.
  • Assisting in the development of annual budgets in collaboration with other departments.
  • Drive cost-efficiency and profitability while supporting long-term growth plans.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other key financial partners.
  • Coordinating internal & external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, tax laws, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Overseeing the accounts payable function and managing accounts receivable
  • Supervising payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Be present and proactive – this is a highly visible role requiring engagement with the wider operations team

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality finance – ideally within premium or midscale hotels.
  • Extremely commercial with a strong understanding of F&B and operational performance metrics.
  • Confident, collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to work closely with non-finance teams.
