Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller as a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel unit, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for the hotel unit
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Manage cash flow and working capital requirements
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide financial guidance and support to hotel management team

Qualifications

  • CA with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
  • MBA  in Finance or diploma related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Experience with hotel operations and financial management in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities.
