Purpose
As a Financial Controller, you’ll partner closely with the General Manager, ownership and Leadership to the team to deliver exceptional financial performance, ensure compliance. This role is perfect for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and bring a strategic yet hands-on approach.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function across all hotel operations (rooms, food and beverage, events, and more)
- Strategic Financial Management, Partner with the General Manager and Owners to drive Profitability, develop comprehensive budget, forecast and provide insightful financial analysis to guide business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies.
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with department heads to maximise revenue, manage costs, and drive profitability.
Skills and Experience
- A strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and F&B cost controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within hospitality, hotels or a related industry
- Strategic thinker with ability to get hands-on when required.
- Strong personal integrity, and the ability to manage a large volume of workload to meet tight deadlines.
