Job Description

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance Team as a Finance Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in hospitality finance within a supportive, global hotel brand.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely data entry of invoices and payments

  • Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately

  • Complete invoice summaries and month-end accruals on time

  • Ensure correct general ledger coding of invoices

  • Perform daily credit card reconciliations

  • General administrative duties, including filing

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports

  • Issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner

  • Match and post payments to outstanding invoices

  • Respond promptly to debtor inquiries

  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and maintain aged debtor balances in line with policy

  • Assist with payroll processing as required


Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role

  • A recognised degree in Accountancy is highly regarded

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with department heads

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with financial systems such as Opera and SUN is desirable
