Job Description

Are you a skilled finance professional looking to make a significant impact? Join our distinguished property as a Finance Officer, where you’ll manage both payroll and accounts payable functions. We’re offering a full-time position, but experienced candidates seeking part-time hours are also encouraged to apply.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind our payroll operations, ensuring precision and efficiency in every transaction. You’ll handle all payroll-related queries, manage employee status changes, and uphold compliance with Awards and regulations. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in exciting payroll projects that contribute to our overall success.

Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing accounts payable, where you'll verify invoice accuracy, ensure proper authorization, and maintain up-to-date vendor information. You’ll also code invoices, reconcile ledgers, prepare payment runs, manage supplier statements, and handle accruals with meticulous attention to detail.


Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field or 2 years of experience as a Finance Officer 
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems.
  • Proficiency in financial software including Sun, Human Force, and Wage Easy would be beneficial
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding service and foster positive relationships
