Job Description

The position is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Department, ensuring that strong and open lines of communication are maintained with the General Manager and Financial Controller, and that Senior Management adopts policies to maximise departmental profits.

You will;

  • Directly accountable for the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of all financial information provided to the General Manager, Accor, and Owners.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial systems to improve efficiency and streamline procedures.
  • Ensure Accor policies and procedures are implemented and that internal controls operate effectively.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Partner with Department Managers to develop strategies that enhance departmental profitability.
  • Monitor all the hotels cash flow and ensure strict compliance with cash handling policies.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Oversee all insurance matters with the hotels

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ relevant accounting experience.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Preferably has accounting experience in the hospitality sector.
  • Previous experience as a manager
