Company Description

We're looking for a Finance Intern to join our team at The Hoxton, Amsterdam. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for supporting the cost control in relation to the hotel and restaurant.

Once the Mayor’s home, now our home, on Amsterdam’s Herengracht canal. The Hoxton, Amsterdam houses 111 rooms, The Apartment, our meetings & events concept, and our all-day restaurant & bar, Lotti’s.

Job Description

What you’ll do...

  • Manage and record goods deliveries.
  • Recording of F&B costs into the General Ledger System.
  • Adhering to all cost control procedures (where applicable create new procedures).
  • Updating costings.
  • Ensuring compliance with documentation/authorisation processes.
  • Processing accruals.
  • Monitoring inventories to increase inventory turnover.
  • Participating in month end reporting procedures.
  • Carrying out weekly stock takes and evaluating potentials.
  • Helping with, and maintaining purchasing agreements.
  • Maintain purchase system and ensuring all items are up to date
